Amid the natural wonder of everglades-themed wetlands and an historic Tequesta burial area, Plantation Preserve offers an 18-hole Audubon certified championship golf course 7,000 yards in length playing to a par-72, and will be the only public golf course in Broward, featuring the recognized Paspalum grass surface. Opened in 1965, HGCC is an ageless Devlin/Von Hagge Design that has matured into a classic layout. In 2000, famed architect “Gentleman,” Joe Lee was asked to redesign Hillcrest Country Club’s championship course. Joe added mounding, new sand traps, improved tee boxes, new lakes and gave the green complexes a whole new look. HGCC elite course has superb drainage. While other courses in South Florida close due to heavy summer rains, you can always get a tee time at Hillcrest Golf and Country Club. The beautifully maintained Tif-Eagle greens, lush landscaping and pristine lakes appeal to all discerning golfers.
